Using Xorventa on your Webflow site

What you need

• A Xorventa account with Xorventa Assist (for the chat window) or Xorventa SEO (for page improvements).
• A Webflow site you can edit and publish.
• Pricing: connecting Webflow is included with your Xorventa Assist or Xorventa SEO plan — no separate charge and no separate purchase. Xorventa plans are paid subscriptions; see xorventa.ai/pricing.

Connect your Webflow site

• Sign in at account.xorventa.ai and start the Webflow connection. Your account has one place for this: if you have Xorventa SEO, connect from Xorventa SEO → Integrations; if you do not, connect from your chat window’s “Install your chat window” section.
• Webflow shows its own authorization screen. Choose the site Xorventa may work on and approve. You can also decline — nothing is connected and nothing changes.
• Back in Xorventa, confirm the site. Xorventa never picks a site for you.

Add your chat window

• Xorventa shows you what it will add to your site before anything happens. Approve it.
• Xorventa registers one small script with your site through Webflow’s custom code. It is staged — not live yet.
• Publish your site in Webflow when you are ready. Xorventa never publishes your site for you, because publishing also pushes any other staged work.
• After you publish, Xorventa checks your live page and tells you whether the chat window is there.

Tell it about your business

• Add your business facts in Xorventa — prices, hours, services, policies.
• The chat window answers visitors from those facts. Change them any time; you never need to touch your Webflow site again.

Review page improvements

• Xorventa SEO proposes better page titles and meta descriptions — and the matching social share (Open Graph) title and description — showing the exact wording now and the exact wording after.
• Approve the ones you want. Xorventa makes the change in Webflow, staged until you publish.
• After you publish, Xorventa checks the live page and confirms the change.
• Changed your mind? Ask Xorventa to reverse it. The reversal is checked against your live page, shown to you first, and refused if it would overwrite newer work.
• Xorventa changes four page settings only: the page title, the meta description, and the social share (Open Graph) title and description. It does not rewrite the content of your pages, and it never changes a page’s URL.
• Some Webflow page settings cannot be changed from outside Webflow. Where that is true, Xorventa shows you the exact values to set yourself.

What Xorventa adds to your site

One script, added through Webflow’s custom code at site level, only after you approve it. It loads your Xorventa chat window from api.xorventa.ai and does nothing else. It goes live when you publish, and it is removed the same way.

Xorventa never asks you to paste code into Webflow, and there is no manual install option — the app registers, applies and removes its script through Webflow’s Custom Code API, and that is the only way it touches your site.

If a Xorventa snippet is already in your site’s custom code from an earlier setup, remove it by hand once: the app’s own script adds the chat window, and two copies would load it twice.

What Xorventa asks Webflow for, and why

• Sites (read and write) — find the sites you can choose from, and add or remove the chat window script at site level.
• Pages (read and write) — read your pages’ titles, descriptions, social share settings and URLs, and update the titles, descriptions and social share settings only after you approve the exact change.
• Custom code (read and write) — register the chat window script, check what is registered, and remove it.

Remove the chat window and disconnect

• Remove first: in Xorventa, open your chat window’s “Install your chat window” section and choose Remove. Then publish your site in Webflow to complete the removal.
• Then disconnect: in Xorventa, disconnect Webflow. Xorventa revokes its access at Webflow and deletes the stored access token.
• Disconnecting on its own does not take the script off your site — Xorventa cannot reach your site once access is revoked. Always remove the chat window before you disconnect.
• Already disconnected, or removed the app in Webflow, with the chat window still showing? Connect again, choose Remove, publish, then disconnect — or email support@xorventa.ai and we will walk you through it.

Privacy and security

• From Webflow, Xorventa reads your site list, your pages’ titles, descriptions, social share (Open Graph) settings and URL slugs (to find each live page), and the custom code it registered — only what it needs for the steps above.
• Webflow access tokens are encrypted at rest, used only on Xorventa’s servers, and deleted when you disconnect. If you revoke access in Webflow, Xorventa stops using the token.
